Bram Stoker

Author

Abraham “Bram” Stoker was an Irish author who was born November 8, 1847 and died April 20, 1912. He is most famous for his genre-defining horror, Dracula; but during his life, everyone knew him as Sir Henry Irving’s personal assistant and the business manager of the Lyceum Theatre.

If good ole Bram were alive today, we think he would give our rendition of his most famous work five stars. Jeff Hays’s Count Dracula would be sure to send chills up his spine. He would find Annie Ellicott’s dexterity in playing all of the women incredibly. And Gary Francis Furlong? Oh boy, would Mr. Stoker be impressed with the way he breathes earnestness and life into his characters.

Of course, this is just our conjecture. If you’d like to learn more facts about Mr. Stoker, you could check out his Wikipedia page and/or countless scholarly articles and historical blog posts on the internet, or politely request a LMGTFY link from info@soundbooththeater.com.
