Synopsis

At first glance, Tilda Quickthatch is merely the local tavern wench in the small town of Briarhaven – or is she? A retired adventurer with dangerous enemies, Tilda is fiercely protective of her many secrets. So protective, in fact, that when a couple of misfit teens threaten to expose her, she agrees to train them to pursue the very life she ran away from. What could possibly go wrong?

Adventure Awaits

I had previously read this book and sometimes after reading a story I'm unable to connect with the audio version as I’ve already developed voices for all the characters in my head, that didn’t happen with this listen. I found the cinematic theatre version of When Life Gives you Legends, brought the story to life deceit the added sound effects and music it made it easy for me to enter right into the world of Tilda, Calina, Rurik and the other characters. I love old time radio shows so this cinematic theater production of when Life Gives you Legends was spectacular and I’m looking forward listening to future productions of this book.

Short people problems.

Ever wonder what a half lingerie running sounds like? You're about to find out! The story is a basic tale of redemption, the voice acting above average then there's the music. AMAZING! It sets the moods, and honestly boosted my experience to a solid 4 star rating. Worth the listen 👍

Fantastic!

I previously read this story via audiobook, which was amazing, but this cinematic recording of it was absolutely next level! Such a fun listen! I very much look forward to hearing the rest!

What an awesome experience

Loved the cinematic version of this story! The adaptation was great as was all of the additions of the music and background noises. My favorite was the diversity in the character voices though! They sound so much like they do in my head when I pictured them. It was wonderful hearing them come to life! Durgan will always be my favorite, but Rurik's voice was a very close 2nd!
