Synopsis

Sam Meeko never thought he’d ever get a superpower, especially one that allows him to smell everything. Everything. With his unconventional power, Sam joins forces with a group of women hellbent on getting to the bottom of a countrywide conspiracy. It’s going to take some thinking outside the box, and when that doesn’t work, Sam and his group might need to tear the walls down.

About The Author

Raised by panthers in the pit of hell, Harmon Cooper escaped and found himself somewhere in central Texas. Realizing that he'd never look good in a cowboy hat, he moved to Asia, where he spent five years uncovering mysteries and honing his writing skills. Upon returning to America, Harmon relocated to New England, which is neither "new" nor "England," where he currently lives with his magical Mongolian wife. Harmon is the author of The Feedback Loop, Fantasy Online, Cherry Blossom Girls, Monster Hunt NYC, We Could Be Heroes, and the Last Warrior of Unigaea, all of which are works that have been touched by the warm fuzzy voices of SBT.

I hope there is a 2nd book. That other commenter can Glurp Glurp

Likes: - Story and environment building in the beginning of many chapters and how they transition was a nice techniqie. Works very well with the SBT sound effects. - Good use of super powers. Some fairly unique stuff. No power used in an OP way. - The doctor was written surprisingly well. - light harem, lots of personality with the characters, even a tragic hero arc. - for more fast paced story, it's done well. Dislikes: - I feel the Doctors Formula + Explosion needs more explaining. It's a huge point in the story but it wasn't explained why it worked at all. - I didn't know energy weapons existed until the last few chapters. Felt un introduced but Tech was implied once earlier. Oh, and that other commenter with the 2 x 1 star reviews can go suck it. They sound like a 12 year old who doesn't know commen business. Glurp Glurp MF. The narrator sounds like he always does. Actually he shoulds a little better to me here since I'm used to hearing him play in Boxy and a few others.

The title and description drew me to this book, but I had to stop listening after two chapters because of the horribly over-the-top voice acting by the narrator. He's reading it as if he's performing for an audience of deaf two year olds

Shameless

Narrator leaving a 5 star review for his own work?!? For shame. For shame. I know. They really should set limits on this... But here we are. The perks of working for the company who owns the platform 😈
